The recipe (inverted)
- 0:00 · Set up inverted.
Plunger in first, push up about 2 cm. Flip the AeroPress upside-down so the plunger is on the bottom.
- 0:00 · Add coffee.
17 g of medium-fine grounds into the chamber.
- 0:00 to 0:15 · Pour to 220 g.
Cooler water than V60 (85°C). Pour fast and stop at 220 g on the scale.
- 0:15 to 0:20 · Stir twice.
Two clean stirs with a paddle or chopstick. Cap with a rinsed paper filter in the basket.
- 0:20 to 1:00 · Steep.
Let it sit. Pre-heat your cup with hot water in the meantime.
- 1:00 to 1:30 · Flip and plunge.
Flip onto your cup. Plunge slowly and evenly. Stop when you hear the hiss. Done.
